[September 20th] Electric motorcycle startup Dat Bike raises $22M to fund expansion

Startup Dat Bike has raised US$22 million in a Series B funding round, positioning itself to benefit from new government incentives to promote electric motorcycle manufacture.

CEO Nguyen Ba Canh Son said the money would go toward research and development and expanding the product lineup.

“With a product-centric approach and deep integration with the local supply chain, we are continuously innovating to create motorbikes with performance on a par with internal combustion engine vehicles.”

Founded in 2019, Dat Bike rapidly became a leading domestic high-performance electric motorbike brand with its flagship Quantum S-series. It increased production capacity fivefold in 2024, and its showroom network in major cities.

F.C.C representatives described Dat Bike as a “standout Vietnamese startup” in the development, manufacturing and distribution of electric motorbikes with strong growth potential across Southeast Asia.
